If you qualify for support through our Ask.dev service and you have registered with us to take this service, we will provide you with the following technical support services via this website:

• you may submit support requests only through this website, and in writing using the interface we provide;
• when we receive your support query, we will check to see whether it falls within the scope of our Ask.dev service and, if, in our opinion, it does not, we will let you know;
• if your support request does fall within the scope of the Ask.dev service, we will endeavour to provide a response in a timely manner, depending on the nature of the request. Given the wide range of technical requests that we expect to receive from a wide range of users, we cannot give any guarantee of any particular response time or depth of response;
• in providing our response to your support request, at our discretion, we may simply provide you with some related technical information, a workaround, or some other fix;
• where we provide you with some information, software or other materials in response to your support request, these shall be deemed to be licensed to you under the terms of our end user licence agreement; and

Remote Device Testing (Lab.dev)

Remote Device Testing (Lab.dev) is service where a qualifying user can conduct testing of software applications in Samsung devices through the website. The availability and nature of the devices that Samsung makes available in connection with the Lab.dev service shall be posted on the website and updated from time to time. However, Samsung does not guarantee that any specific device will be available at any particular time and users should check the website from time to time to see what devices are in fact available.

Lab.dev uses the simulation of an actual device and, as such, may not replicate exact operating conditions. Production models may vary from devices made available through Lab.dev and therefore users are advised to test applications on production models as well as through Lab.dev.

Lab.dev is only available to you if you are a qualified, registered user of innovator.samsungmobile.com, and you will only have access to the service for a specific defined period of time (which is determined each time you sign in to access Lab.dev devices). Once the defined period of time has elapsed, access to Lab.dev will cease and you should make sure that any test or other data which you are using in connection with Lab.dev is not affected by the ending of the session and that your data is backed up so that you do not lose it.

By using Lab.dev, you agree and acknowledge that Samsung is not liable for any loss of data or software in connection with your access to the service, and that, prior to the release of any application or device into manufacture, further tests will need to be conducted in recognition of the fact that Lab.dev is not a substitute for any such required tests.

By using Lab.dev, you warrant that:

• you will only use the service for testing of applications which are designed solely for use on Samsung handsets;
• you will uninstall any and all software or other content which has been used in connection with the service once you have completed your session;
• you shall not attempt to copy, reverse engineer or decompile the Lab.dev device or any technology connected with it.

Software Downloads

When we make software available for users to download through innovator.samsungmobile.com, any such download is subject to the terms of our end user licence agreement, in addition to these terms and conditions. We may also wish to specify certain additional licensing terms in connection with specific software and, if any such additional software licensing terms apply, these will be notified to you at the time you agree to license the software.

Example Code

Samsung may publish on the website what Samsung term "example code", which is software developed by Samsung and which Samsung makes freely available for developers to use. This is provided under the terms of example code license.

Uploading material to the Forum Website

Any material you upload to innovator.samsungmobile.com will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary, and we have the right (at no charge) to use, copy, distribute, sub-licence and disclose to third parties any such material for any purpose. We also have the right to disclose your identity to any third party who is claiming that any material posted or uploaded by you to the website constitutes a violation of their intellectual property rights, or of their right to privacy.

Samsung reserves the right to remove any material or posting you make on our site if, in our opinion, such material does not comply with Samsung's content standards. You warrant that any material you upload does not, and will not, infringe any third party intellectual property rights.

Market.dev

If you have a technology that you wish to show to us for evaluation, you may provide this to us on the following terms:

• Samsung will only accept technology under Samsung Mobile Innovator Market.dev program if you have completed the registration procedure on innovator.samsungmobile.com, and you are a Core or Hub Member. In the case of Core members, Samsung will evaluate/review the upload: for Hub Members, however, Samsung may not guarantee or provide any form of commitment that Samsung will conduct any such evaluation/review;
• when Samsung receives the technology, Samsung is entitled to evaluate it fully (including with Samsung's affiliated companies and business and technology partners) including making a reasonable number of copies to support the evaluation exercise;
• either one of us can terminate the evaluation at any time by sending an email to the other party and we shall then destroy copies of the technology in our possession;
• other than the limited right to evaluate the technology, all rights in the technology are retained by the disclosing party;
• Samsung does not accept any confidentiality obligations in respect of any technology under evaluation and you acknowledge that it is likely that we or our affiliated companies are actively working in the same or similar technical fields as the technology under evaluation;

If Samsung or any of its affiliated companies wish to licence the technology under evaluation, this shall be subject to a separate agreement.

Samsung IQ

Samsung plans to run competitions under which qualified, registered, Hub members are invited to submit business ideas, technology concepts, and so on, to try to win prizes. Specific terms and conditions (including those relating to intellectual property) will apply and will be notified to entrants before submissions are accepted.

Discussion Boards

Core (Tier 1) and Hub (Tier 2) members of innovator.samsungmobile.com are entitled to participate in the discussion boards and blogs that are in operation on the website. The rules laid out below apply to anyone participating in blogging or other interaction with the website.

Discussion Board Rules
Any submission of material by you to the discussion boards means that you accept, and agree to abide by, all the terms and conditions of these rules, which supplement the general website Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

Moderation
Samsung is under no obligation to you or any other person to oversee, monitor or moderate the discussion boards or any other services Samsung provides on the website and Samsung may therefore stop moderating the discussion boards at any time. Content Standards

Licence

Breach of these Rules
