Samsung on Symbian


Samsung devices based on the Symbian platform should run your existing Symbian applications out of the box. But you can also enhance your applications to take advantage of custom Samsung features, enabling you to differentiate your apps on Samsung devices. The Knowledge Base contains the resources you  need to work with Samsung custom APIs and technologies.

Typical Samsung phones based on Symbian are high-end, multimedia-rich devices, like the i8910 HD - an HD movie player and recorder that's loaded with features including full-touch QHD display (360x640 pixel), 8.0 Megapixel camera, hardware accelerated graphics supporting OpenGL ES 2.0, and full complement of onboard sensors including accelerometer, compass, proximity, ambient light.
